BirdShades is installed full-surface on the exterior. Thorough extraction of installation solution is important because the film uses PET construction and a water-based adhesive.
Designed for retrofit projects
Suitable installations do not require changes to the building structure or glass. Laminated, coated and unusual glazing assemblies should be reviewed before installation.

BirdShades contains a special material activated by UVA radiation in daylight. The protective pattern is largely imperceptible to humans but visible to many birds.
BirdShades guarantees durability for five years. Depending on location and maintenance, actual service life may extend to approximately 10–12 years.
BirdShades can be used on many types of float glass. Laminated, coated and unusual glazing assemblies should be reviewed before installation.
BirdShades is highly transparent. At certain viewing angles and against certain backgrounds, a transparent pattern or mild optical effect may be visible.
No product can guarantee complete elimination of bird-window collisions. Research and customer feedback indicate that BirdShades can substantially reduce collision risk.
Normal periodic glass cleaning is generally sufficient. Avoid sharp objects and high-pressure cleaning that could damage the film.
